The Institute’s prime mandate is promoting and strengthening inter/multi disciplinaryunderstanding for widening the scope of research beyond disciplinary limits. The Institute therefore regularly organizes Capacity Building Programme (CBP) for young faculty members/scholars across the disciplines of Social Sciences in collaboration with the Indian Council of Social Science Research, New Delhi. The CBP helps young faculty members/scholars in enhancing their understanding of social issues through inter/multi disciplinary lenses and suitability and applicability of such approcahes in their research. The programme duration of CBP is two-weeks and is fully residential.
