To initiate young post graduate scholars to inter disciplinary research the Institute launched the Six-Month Internship Programme at OKDISCD open to young scholars from variousdisciplines in Social Sciences. The programme aims to provide scholars with an opportunity to work on issues of social concern and are trained to develop their research and analytical skills. An important component of the programme is to introduce young scholars to field survey, data collection and analysis to understand the nuances of Social Science research relevant for policyinputs.

Internship Programme under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 for Graduate Students

In accordance with NEP 2020, the Institute launched a one-month internship programme for graduate and post graduate students pursuing their education in different institutions across the country. The internship is open to graduate and post graduate students from various disciplines of Social Sciences. The aim of the programme is to provide students with an opportunity to understand the nuances of interdisciplinary research through a structured module that includes lectures, short documentaries followed by hands on training in writing research papers with policy focus.
