Research Methodology Course for Ph.D. Scholars

The Institute organizes research methodology courses for young scholars pursuing their doctoral work or scholars willing to take up doctoral research in social sciences. The short term course duration is five days and long term course duration is ten days.

Both these short terms and long-termcourses aim to facilitate young scholars in developing research capabilities and hands-on practices in critical Social Science research. The course curriculum includes lectures on methodoligical aspects, research design, specialized lectures on themes related to social science research, analytical framework and tools of analysis, group assignments, and presentations. Over the years, these two courses have attracted scholars from across the nation and is one of the most sought-afterprogrammes of the Institute.
